Yes, revision can be a beautiful process, but it can also substitute for growth, in a way. Sometimes, we have to let things be, even if it’s immature or “wrong” by our current standards. And other people aren’t always ready to accept or understand what you’ve written, either. Which helps some of the rejections we face as writers go down a bit easier!
